The last month of the year has arrived. Here’s your checklist to make it a big success.

  • If you have on-going relationships with customers, research what they bought last December and call on them to learn if they plan to purchase again.
  • Do you give your clients holiday gifts? It’s time to get organized.
  • If you’re taking time off, let customers know ahead of time. It’s an easy way to connect.
  • Ask customers if they’re taking time off. That way you won’t be surprised when you stop by to drop off their holiday basket on December 23rd and discover they won’t be back until January 2nd.
  • Are you signing, addressing, and mailing personalized holiday cards? Complete the task by Monday, December 16th so they arrive before the holidays are over.
  • Make a list of everyone you need to take to lunch and start scheduling. When possible, make reservations, because the best restaurants are extra busy at the holidays.
  • Stay ahead of the competition. Block time and call all your prospects.
  • Reach out to your network and use LinkedIn to send holiday greetings to your connections.
  • Take the time to thank your co-workers for helping you throughout the year.
